So now that I had the opportunity to introduce myself and why I decided to blog about travelling, this post will be focused more on my favorite places that I’ve been as well as some locations that are perfect to visit during the fall. Just to list off a couple of places I’ve been I’ll start with stateside and then continue over to my international travels! Some of the different states I’ve been to include: Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and lastly Virginia. International countries I’ve been to include: Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Austria, Croatia, and Mexico. As I previously mentioned this post will be more along the lines of where I’ve been as well as great places to go right now. I’ll start with stateside today and later this week I will do another post in regards to my international travelers out there!
Ah, the feel of fall is beginning to set in. Everything pumpkin is being sold and the weather is beginning to get a little bit cooler. If you love everything about this time of the year then do I have some places for you. There’s no doubt about it that once that crisp fall air comes, the North-Eastern states are where you will want to be. I’m talking the picturesque beauty of the orange and brown leaves, the small cozy towns and comfort of those fall festivals. Yes, my favorite part of fall is of course the festivals. Whether you’re looking for a scare fest or nice hay ride, these states will have exactly what you’re looking for. Just to give you guys a better understanding, my go to states during the fall would be Maine, New York, New Jersey, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Pennsylvania. These states provide you with that cool air that you’re looking for, if you’re from the South you know what I’m talking about.
From the beginning of September until the middle of November, these states host fall festivals every weekend. These festivals vary from fright fest or that family festival that you’ve been looking for. Note that sometimes the best way to travel is to not plan anything, but for you newbies I would recommend finding a festival ahead of time. Sometimes if you want to be more adventurous, you can visit some of these cities and travel along with the festivals. If you can’t get a full weekend away you may not have to travel to these states for that fall festival feel. Some fall festivals may be closer than you think. I went ahead and included some must visit festivals in the United States to get you started on your fall plans!
Till next time my little travelers,
Ariana
